I am going out west in June and would like to use my new detector if for nothing else but fun. Hopefully I will find a coin or piece of jewelry. Anyone know of good places to hunt for such things?

I like to do metal detecting and my next door neighbors moved out a few weeks ago and no one has moved in yet, can I detect around that yard or do I need to ask permission, If yes who would I ask?
I live in Northeast Philadelphia, and I am interested in metal detecting. When I was young, I couldn’t drive anywhere and metal detecting is forbidden in places like parks and school playgrounds. As I am older now, and I can drive anywhere, please advise on where I can find places to metal detect in the tri-state area. Thanks.
I am interested in features, benefits, brands and the requirements to begin treasure hunting. I’m interested in going to beaches, parks, demolish sites, etc. I’m looking for a detector that will find the most variety of items.
