water spilled on my alltel scoop phone?
water spilled on to my alltel scoop phone. Has this ever happened to anyone? what do i do? I took the battery pack out, dried everything off..dried the inside keyboard..so its done then? i have insurance, but is there a way to fix it? how long to u figure i let it dry out? do i try to put battery pack back in after a few hours? please help!!! thank you!
Insurance does cover water damage and any other abuse you do to the phone, I know I have claimed against my insurance for water damage and a broken screen. They just give you the same phone after you pay the fee. Mine was $50 dollars.
After you let it dry completely, put the battery back in and see if it works. Make sure though the battery compartment is fully dry because it can corrode the battery connections if not completely dry.
You might try using a hair dryer to dry it out. Just make sure you don’t leave it on the phone to long.
