Metal Detecting Questions:

my 2000 ford ranger alarm goes off every time a door is opened and i can only start it with button under wheel?

i own a 2000 ford ranger and a buddy of mine was doing some tune ups on it and set the alarm off. so now i have to start my car by turning the key and hitting the button under the wheel. its very frustrating because i have about 4 seconds to start the car after a door is open and i need to know how to get this to stop. please help

Locate the security system relay in the fuse panel and remove it.
This will enable the anti theft system. Now you can ‘GO’ as normal but you no longer has anti theft installed.
YOU MUST DO YOUR OWN ANTI THEFT !!
