how long can I expect to be out of work if I have a disc in my back replaced?

I had a nasty back injury last summer at work. I’m a delivery driver for UPS and lift about 300 pkg a day ranging from 1 pound to 150 pounds. I’m having a disc removed from my back and replace with some sorta metal thingy. How long can I expect to be back to full working order to return to my job?

It depends on your age. The older you are, the longer the rehab time. It can take any where from 26 weeks, up to 52 weeks.
