Will my braces set off the metal detector at the airport?

I’m going on vacation next week and I’m paranoid that my braces will set off the metal detector at the security checkpoint. Last night I told my mom “What if my braces have set off the metal detector and they have to strip search me?!”. No I don’t suffer from paranoia. I’m just really cautious.

No. And if for any reason, someone sets off the beeper…like having a metal plate in their skull, or artificial knees, they simply have you step to one side and ues the handheld WAND to check you . They do not strip search you for something like that.

no they won’t. I’ve flown six or so times with braces and the metal detector never went off.

no they won’t set it off, I have flown many times and I used to have braces, and I also have 2 rods in my back from a surgery to corect scoliosis and I have an implant for my seizures, so I have a lot of metal in my body haha and I have never set off the detector
