is there a handheld “floss-like” saw used for cutting metal like coins?

I saw a guy cutting images into coins and he was using a hand held saw that wasn’t much bigger then a piece of floss. he filed these images into coins using this tool. what is the name of this tool, and where can I get one.

Metal Detecting Questions:

Is there a really good keylogger detector/removal programme I can download free?

I have someone sat at their computer knowing every single thing I type at the moment, I was not even aware this was possible? I run AVG free, is there a keylogger detector/removal programme that will stop it? I downloaded spybot and it found loads, but said I had to then pay to remove them?
yes I know spybot is free but it says you cannot remove the infected items without paying!

get rid of that spybot, it s not genuine, for a genuine version go to the safernetworking website…..you will not be asked for a penny to clear up found items.

http://www.safer-networking.org/index2.html

you can go here and get process explorer for free, if you learn how to use it, you will gain a real level of mastery over your computer.

if you know who this person is, please go to the police, we don t need this type of jerk online anymore….good luck.

Detector Coil

Metal Detecting Questions:

Can a variable inductor coil be bad(as in it does not work for some reason)?

I have a transmitter and receiver project and my range is just terrible. It will not work more than a foot away. What would be the most likely problem here. I have adjusted both sides to maximum signal, but the receiver coil does not seem to change at all when I adjust the coil. I believe the problem is in the detector stage, or maybe somewhere in the rf oscillator or output amplifier stage of the transmitter, but I am far from an electronics guru. Can someone please give me some advice.

Too many unknowns. RF designs like this require a lot of equipment like oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers, and a lot of experience.

You need to get experience on simpler circuits. Try RF after you have more experience and the proper equipment. If ever. I have a lot of design experience, but I’d hesitate on doing RF designs, unless I had the equipment and time AND I couldn’t just buy what I wanted.
